North Attleboro (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for an investment consultant for the $114 million defined benefit plan.
The search is being conducted to comply with state law that requires contracts go out to bid every seven years, confirmed Debra A. Bush, executive director of the pension fund. Dahab Associates is the plan's current investment consultant and is welcome to rebid.
As of Dec. 31, the pension fund had an allocation of 23.2% large-cap equities, 18% fixed income, 13.8% real assets, 11.1% developed markets equities, 10.6% small-cap equities, 10.3% midcap equities, 9.1% cash and 3.9% emerging markets equities.
The RFP is available by contacting Ms. Bush via email. Proposals are due by 3 p.m. EDT on April 6. A selection should be made at the April 26 or May 24 board meeting, Ms. Bush said.
