Spencer Rhodes joined alternative credit manager CQS (UK) as partner and global head of strategy and business development for distribution.
In this new position, Mr. Rhodes works alongside Soraya Chabarek, partner and global head of sales. Mr. Rhodes reports to Michael Peat, CQS' chairman, spokesman Michael Rummel confirmed in an email.
Mr. Rhodes was managing director, head of business development and client portfolio management, private markets, at Man Group. Spokeswoman Megan Ingersoll declined to comment about Mr. Rhodes' replacement.
CQS manages about $15 billion in hedge fund and long-only credit strategies.
