Andrew Polson will become CEO of Frontier Advisors, a leading Australian investment consulting firm, in May.
Mr. Polson will replace Damian Moloney. Mr. Moloney, Frontier Advisors’ CEO since 2011, will leave at the end of March to take on a new, London-based post as head of investments (Europe) with AustralianSuper, the A$130 billion ($100.2 billion) Melbourne-based superannuation fund.
Kim Bowater, Frontier's director of consulting, will take on the additional role of acting CEO for the four to five weeks until Mr. Polson begins, said a spokesman for the firm.
Mr. Polson will come to Frontier Advisors from Hobart, Tasmania-based financial services group MyState, where he served as general manager, wealth management, according to a Frontier Advisors news release.
Scott Lukianenko, company secretary at MyState, couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
The Frontier news release said the firm currently has A$300 billion in funds under advice.
