Dave Lyons was named head of investment advice to public-sector pension funds at KPMG U.K.
It is a new position, a spokesman said.
Mr. Lyons leads the firm's national public-sector investment advisory business, said a news release. The unit provides advice to local government pension funds and the newly formed asset pools across England and Wales.
A spokesman for KPMG could not be reached for comment.
Mr. Lyons was head of public-sector investment consulting at Aon Hewitt, said the release. An Aon Hewitt spokesman confirmed his departure and said there is no direct replacement.
