Padre Dam Municipal Water District, Santee, Calif., is searching for a record keeper for its $10 million 457 plan, according to an RFP on the district's website.
The district issued the RFP as part of a fiduciary review to analyze and evaluate "the retirement plan provider marketplace with the goal of identifying the provider that provides the best administrative solutions, and more importantly the most value to its retirement plan participants," the RFP said.
Nationwide Financial is the current record keeper and the RFP said the district could retain the incumbent provider.
The RFP is available on the district's website. Proposals are due April 13. A decision is expected sometime in May.
James R. McCrary, retirement plan consultant, and Christina Pao, senior advisory services associate, both at SageView Advisory Group, the plan's investment consultant which is assisting with the search, could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
