Hawaii Employees' Retirement System, Honolulu, is searching for firms to provide global custodian and/or securities lending services, said Thomas Williams, executive director of the $16.3 billion pension fund, in an email.
The search is being conduced due to the upcoming contract expiration of incumbent provider Bank of New York Mellon, Mr. Williams wrote. Interested firms can apply for one or both services.
Expressions of interest are due by May 3 with a hiring decision expected in October or November. The RFP is available on the pension fund's website.
