Neil Guglielmo was named general manager of the Los Angeles City Employees' Retirement System, according to a post on the $17.4 billion pension plan's website.
Mr. Guglielmo started March 5 and replaces Thomas Moutes, who retired.
Mr. Guglielmo had been chief financial officer of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power since April 2017. He has worked for the city of Los Angeles for 27 years.
