Vittorio Lacagnina was named head of business development, private infrastructure Americas at Partners Group, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new. Mr. Lacagnina will lead capital origination and strategic fundraising for the asset class across the Americas, and he will start June 1. He will be working closely with the Americas investment team led by Todd Bright, head of private infrastructure Americas.
Mr. Lacagnina was head of global clients and marketing for North America and Europe at Queensland Investment Corp. in New York. A spokeswoman at QIC could not be reached to comment about a replacement.
Partners Group has $74 billion in assets under management.
