Forty-two defined contribution communications campaigns were honored Monday for their efforts to educate and motivate participants at the annual Eddy Awards presented by Pensions & Investments. The awards were presented at P&I's East Coast Defined Contribution Conference in Miami.
In the special projects category, Los Alamos National Laboratory (and its service provider Alight Solutions) took first place for corporate plans with more than 5,000 participants. Also in this category, Movement Mortgage (Principal) was the winner for corporate plans with 1,000 to 5,000 participants.
Hennepin Healthcare Systems (Wells Fargo Institutional Retirement and Trust) placed first in the special projects category for not-for-profit plans with more than 5,000 participants.
Southern Illinois Healthcare (Wells Fargo) took first place in this category for not-for-profit plans with 1,000 to 5,000 participants.
The Municipal Employees' Retirement System of Michigan was the leader in the special projects category for public plans.
The NFL Player Benefits Office took top prize among unions in the special projects category.
In the plan transitions category, The City University of New York (TIAA-CREF is the service provider) captured first place for public plans with more than 5,000 participants.
The State of Rhode Island (TIAA-CREF) took first place for plan transitions for public plans with 1,000 to 5,000 participants.
The University of Richmond (TIAA-CREF) was the plan transitions category winner for not-for-profit/other plans with 1,000 to 5,000 participants.
Dorel Juvenile Group (MassMutual Retirement Services) won first place in the plan transitions category for unions.
In the ongoing investment education category, Schneider National (Wells Fargo Institutional Retirement and Trust) took first prize among corporate plans with more than 5,000 participants.
Another ongoing investment education winner was Federated Mutual Insurance (Wells Fargo) among corporate plans with 1,000 to 5,000 participants. Kingspan Insulated Panels (ADP Retirement Services) captured first place for corporate plans with fewer than 1,000 participants.
Employees Retirement System of Texas (Empower Retirement) placed first among public plans in the ongoing investment education category. Memorial Hermann Health System (Fidelity Investments) captured the top award for ongoing investment education for not for profit/other plans.
Hendrick Automotive Group (Vanguard Group) took top honors in the auto re-enrollment category for corporate plans with more than 5,000 participants.
Dimensional Fund Advisors (Health Savings Administrators) placed first in the retirement health care savings category for corporate plans with fewer than 1,000 participants.
For pre-retirement preparation, Oncor Electric Delivery Co. captured first place among corporate plans with 1,000 to 5,000 participants.
In addition to honoring sponsors and their service providers, the Eddy Awards judges also recognized generic education efforts by service providers, granting first-place awards to Francis Investment Counsel in the special projects category, to Conrad Siegel in the ongoing investment education category and to MetLife in the pre-retirement preparation category.
