University of Central Arkansas, Conway, hired Cammack Retirement Group as investment consultant for its regular 403(b) plan and supplemental plan, which have roughly $270 million in combined assets, said Graham L. Gillis, associate vice president of human resources and risk management, in an email.
Aon Hewitt and Multnomah Group were the other finalists.
A search was originally launched in January 2017, but shortly after the RFP was issued, Houston Davis took over as the university's president. Mr. Davis suggested delaying the search, so he could be brought up-to-date regarding the university's need for a retirement plan consultant. So an RFP was reissued in December.
The university did not have a retirement plan consultant prior to this hire.
TIAA-CREF is the record keeper for the regular plan. TIAA and VALIC are record keepers for the supplemental plan.
