Nebraska Public Power District, Columbus, is searching for a bundled provider for its $623 million 401(k) plan and $41 million 457 plan, said an RFP posted on the district's procurement website.
The district is searching for a single provider for both plans, the RFP said. Wells Fargo is the current provider of the 401(k) plan, and ICMA-RC is the current provider of the 457 plan. Whether both firms are invited to rebid could not be immediately learned.
The RFP is available on the district's procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. CDT on March 28. A selection is scheduled for the week of June 4.
Craig Chaikin, vice president and senior consultant, and analyst Alain Charles-Pierre, both of Segal Marco Advisors, the plans' investment consultant, could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
