Matt Horten and Kevin Moore joined venture capital fund-of-funds firm Spur Capital Partners as partners, said Mr. Moore in an email.
They are new positions. Messrs. Horten and Moore will be on the investment team responsible for portfolio management and portfolio construction. They will also manage existing venture capital relationships and source and perform due diligence on new managers as well as participate in all activities related to investor relations.
Mr. Horten was chief investment officer at WSS Holdings, a family office. Mr. Moore was director of angel investments and venture adviser at non-profit corporation i2E Inc. that invested in early-stage companies. Mr. Moore also serves on the investment committee for the $16.9 billion Oklahoma Teachers' Retirement System, Oklahoma City.
Spur Capital has $660 million in assets under management.
