Angelo Calvitto, the head of Asia-Pacific institutional sales for Northern Trust, has been appointed head of the firm's Australasia business, effective June 8.
In that role, Mr. Calvitto will be responsible for providing "asset servicing, asset management and capital markets solutions to sophisticated institutional and investment manager clients" in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific islands, according to a Northern Trust news release Thursday.
He will replace Madeleine Senior in that role. Ms. Senior will be taking on a leadership role in Northern Trust's London office. He will report to William Mak, head of Asia-Pacific.
A Northern Trust spokesman said Mr. Calvitto's replacement as head of Asia-Pacific institutional sales and Ms. Senior's new title will be announced "in due course."
