Claus Benkert, who was head of KKR Capstone for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, left the firm in January, a spokesman said.
Details of why Mr. Benkert left or his plans could not be immediately learned.
Juan de Ochoa and Bjorn Ruwald replaced Mr. Benkert as co-heads of EMEA at KKR Capstone, a subsidiary and strategy consulting vehicle for KKR & Co.
Mr. de Ochoa, a managing director, and Mr. Ruwald, director, assumed Mr. Benkert's responsibilities in addition to their existing roles, the spokesman said.
