Sunil Daswani left Northern Trust, where he was head of international securities lending, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Daswani was responsible for the Europe, Middle East and Africa and Asia-Pacific regions. It could not be learned why he left or his future plans.
Mark Jones was named head of securities lending for the EMEA region, the spokeswoman said. Mr. Jones was previously head of international product management, securities lending. Details of his replacement could not be obtained by press time.
Dane Fannin, head of capital markets for Asia-Pacific, now leads securities lending for the region as part of his existing role.
Northern Trust has $10.7 trillion in assets under custody.
