Hawaii Employees' Retirement System, Honolulu, rehired Hamilton Lane as private equity consultant, pending final contract negotiations, said an award announcement on the pension fund's website.
An RFP was issued in October. The reason for the search could not be learned by press time.
As of Sept. 30, the pension fund had a 6.73% allocation to private equity.
An investment official could not immediately be reached for additional information.
