Mark Horne was named director at Fulcrum Asset Management, a spokeswoman said.
The role is new. Mr. Horne is responsible for alternative credit strategies and reports to Matthew Roberts, partner.
"(Mr. Horne) will be a tremendous addition to the team. His experience and expertise in the alternative credit markets will be crucial in helping us develop our range of solutions for clients," Mr. Roberts said in a news release.
Mr. Horne previously worked as an independent asset management consultant in London and Paris. Prior to that, he was senior credit manager at Willis Towers Watson.
Fulcrum Asset Management has £4.7 billion ($5.7 billion) in assets under management.
