Watertown (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is looking for a global multiasset allocation manager to run about $11 million for the $183 million defined benefit plan.
Fiduciary Investment Advisors, the pension fund's investment consultant, is assisting with the search.
The search is being conducted because the plan's contract with its current manager, Wellington Management, expires at the end of the year, said Richard A. Carey, associate research analyst at Fiduciary Investment Advisors. Wellington is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on Fiduciary Investment Advisors' website. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EST on March 7. A timetable for selecting a manager has not been established, Mr. Carey said.
