Rush Harvey was named director of investments at the $1.7 billion Texas A&M Foundation, said a spokeswoman for the College Station-based foundation.
It is a new position. Josh Burgan, the foundation's other investments director, joined in May 2015.
Mr. Harvey started earlier this month. He reports to Ben Wall, chief investment officer.
Previously, Mr. Harvey was director of investments at the $737 million Kansas State University Foundation, Manhattan. A spokeswoman for the KSU Foundation could not immediately be reached for information on a replacement.
