Louisiana Teachers' Retirement System, Baton Rouge, is searching for an active international large-cap growth equity manager to run about $450 million, said Dana Brown, director of public markets.
The $19.8 billion pension fund has issued a solicitation for proposals due to the pending expiration of current manager Artisan Partners' contract; the firm is invited to rebid.
As of Dec. 31, the actual allocation to international developed markets equities was 13%, which is also the target.
The SFP is available on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due at 4:30 p.m. CST on March 5. Finalist interviews are scheduled for May 3, with a decision expected shortly thereafter.
