Cobb County School District, Marietta, Ga., is searching for record keepers for its 403(b) and 457 plans, said Gary Blount, purchasing agent, in an email.
The district issued a request for information in order to narrow the number of record keepers to two or three, Mr. Blount said. The current record keepers are Lincoln Financial, MetLife, Symetra Financial, United Services Automobile Association, VALIC and Voya Financial. All are invited to rebid. The plans have combined assets of $252 million. The RFI is available on the district's procurement website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EST on Feb. 23. Finalist interviews are tentatively scheduled for sometime in March, with an award to follow in March or April.
