Japan's ¥156.8 trillion ($1.4 trillion) Government Pension Investment Fund is searching for investment consultants for a two-year period starting April 1, the beginning of the fiscal year.
GPIF's current investment consultants Russell Investments Japan and Mercer Japan can rebid, a GPIF spokeswoman said in an email.
Proposals are due by 5 p.m. Tokyo time on Feb. 21.
The spokeswoman said interested parties can request a detailed copy of the RFP via email until Feb. 20, or call GPIF directly at 81-3-3502-2485 to request a copy.
A notice on the GPIF's website said a briefing on the pension fund's search for one or more investment consultants will be held at the GPIF's conference room on Feb. 7. Parties interested in attending should send their names, titles and contact information to GPIF by email.
