John O’Keeffe was named head of boutique strategy and business management at Sydney-based Fidante Partners, according to an announcement Monday from the holding company of asset management affiliates.
The position is new, a Fidante spokesman said in an email.
Mr. O’Keeffe comes to Fidante Partners from the Future Fund, Australia’s A$134.5 billion ($107.5 billion) sovereign wealth fund, where he served as manager, debt and alternatives. A Melbourne-based Future Fund spokeswoman confirmed Mr. O’Keeffe’s departure but declined to comment as to whether he will be replaced in that role.
