Christopher Taylor was named CEO of Madison Capital Funding, effective June 30, confirmed company spokeswoman Ariel Kouvaras in an email.
Mr. Taylor will replace Hugh Wade, who will become chairman until he retires in December.
Mr. Taylor also will assume responsibility for the capital markets and finance functions, effective immediately.
Mr. Taylor was a managing director at the firm. He is a member of the senior leadership team and investment committee, and leads the firm's new business development team.
Madison Capital Funding, a subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Co., managed $8.7 billion as of Dec. 31.
