Kimberley West was named U.S. head of Willis Towers Watson's Asset Management Exchange, said Ed Emerman, spokesman.
The position is new. Ms. West will report directly to Oliver Jaegemann, global head of AMX.
The investment exchange, designed for use by institutional investors, offers a standardized fund infrastructure and centralized back-office services. AMX is available for existing Willis Towers Watson investment consulting clients as well as investment-only asset owners. It started in February 2017.
Ms. West was managing director at BlackRock and lead product strategist for its active equity division. A spokesman at BlackRock could not be immediately reached for information on her replacement.
