Westfield (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for at least one manager to run about $10 million in active U.S. midcap equity for the system's $230 million investment portfolio.
The search is being conducted to comply with state law that requires contracts be put out to bid every seven years, said Raymond Depelteau, chief investment officer. Boston Co. Asset Management is the current manager and is invited to rebid.
Only commingled investment vehicles will be considered. Separate accounts will not be considered.
The RFP is available from Lynn Rea, retirement administrator, via email. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EST Feb. 23. A selection is expected in April.
