Alaska Permanent Fund Corp., Juneau, hired Richard Bernstein Advisors to run $200 million in active global equities, spokeswoman Paulyn Swanson said in an email.
The $64.5 billion sovereign wealth fund made the hire "as part of its diversified strategy of investing across global equity markets," Ms. Swanson said. She would not provide further information regarding the funding source.
As of Nov. 30, the actual allocation to global equities was 16%.
