Plymouth (Mass.) Retirement System is searching for a global multiasset manager to run about $7.5 million.
The board expects to award the full allocation to one manager.
Fiduciary Investment Advisors, investment consultant for the $175 million defined benefit plan, is assisting with the search.
The search is being conducted because the plan's contract with its current manager, Wellington Management, is set to expire soon, said Wendy Cherry, executive director of the pension fund. Wellington is expected to rebid.
The RFP is available on Fiduciary Investment Advisors' website. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EST on Feb. 12. Ms. Cherry did not disclose a hiring date.
