Warren Wilson College Endowment Fund, Asheville, N.C., is searching for equity and high-yield managers that exclude fossil-fuel exposure to run a total of $12.5 million, .
The endowment is seeking managers to submit indications of interest in running active or passive strategies for up to $10 million in global equities; up to $5 million in developed-country equities; up to $5 million in emerging markets equities; and up to $2.5 million in high-yield fixed income. The endowment plans to hire managers to run a total of $12.5 million in up to three of the categories named.
The endowment is specifically seeking managers that will evaluate fossil-fuel exposure by comparing securities owned to the Carbon Underground 200 coal and oil/gas company listing. The RFP is available on Meketa's website. Indications of interest are due at 4 p.m. EST on Jan. 31. A timetable for a decision was not provided.
