Watertown (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is looking for an active core U.S. midcap equity manager to run up to $10 million.
Fiduciary Investment Advisors, investment consultant to the $183 million defined benefit plan, is assisting with the search.
The search is being conducted because the incumbent manager's contract expires at the end of this year, said Richard A. Carey, associate research analyst at Fiduciary Investment Advisors. Although he declined to disclose the identity of the incumbent manager, Mr. Carey said it is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on Fiduciary Investment Advisors' RFP management website. Registration is required.
Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EST on Feb. 12. A timetable for selecting a manager has not been established, said Mr. Carey.
