San Joaquin County, Stockton, Calif., is searching for an investment consultant for its $383 million 457 plan and $13 million 401(a) plan, said an RFP posted on Public Purchase, a procurement website.
The county issued the RFP "in order to meet best practices for services to efficiently operate the county's deferred compensation program," according to the RFP. Which firm currently provides these services and whether the firm is eligible to rebid could not be immediately learned.
The RFP is available on the Public Purchase procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. PST on Feb. 9. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
