Deborah Ho will join BlackRock in Singapore as a managing director and head of Southeast Asia, a spokesman confirmed.
Ms. Ho will effectively replace Kevin Hardy in March 2018, although their respective titles differ, the spokesman said. Mr. Hardy, the firm's head of Singapore and head of beta strategies for the region, will be leaving to pursue other opportunities, the spokesman said.
Mr. Hardy, reached by email, confirmed he will be moving on but declined to discuss his next move.
Ms. Ho comes to BlackRock from Barclays Bank, where she serves as a managing director and co-head of senior relationship management.
