University of Central Arkansas, Conway, has reissued its RFP for an investment consultant for its regular 403(b) plan and supplemental plan with roughly $270 million in total assets, said Graham L. Gillis, associate vice president of human resources and risk management, in an email.
The RFP was originally issued in January. Shortly after the RFP was issued, Houston Davis took over as the university's president. Mr. Davis suggested delaying the search "so he could be informed and brought up-to-date regarding our retirement plan and the need for a retirement plan consultant," Mr. Gillis wrote.
The university does not have a retirement plan consultant.
TIAA-CREF is the record keeper for the regular plan. TIAA and VALIC are record keepers for the supplemental plan.
The RFP is available on the university's website.
Proposals are due by 1:30 p.m. CST on Jan. 11. Finalist interviews are tentatively scheduled for Jan. 22-23, with a hiring decision expected on Jan. 31.
