Betty Ng joined State Street Global Advisors this week in Hong Kong as managing director and chief operating office for Asia ex-Japan.
It is a new position. Ms. Ng oversees business and infrastructure development, while supporting the implementation of strategic and growth initiatives. She reports to June Wong, SSGA's senior managing director and head of Asia ex-Japan.
Ms. Ng was general manager of private wealth management at Agricultural Bank of China in Hong Kong.
A spokesman for Agricultural Bank of China couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
