CalSTRS is seeking to fill its deputy chief investment officer position, according to a posting from executive recruiting firm EFL Associates.
The position became open after the $219.6 billion West Sacramento-based California State Teachers' Retirement System announced in August that Michelle Cunningham, the pension fund's deputy chief investment officer, would retire at the end of the year. CalSTRS officials were not immediately available to comment on a timetable for a replacement.
The job posting said the base salary range is between $272,000 and $320,000, with incentive compensation of up 80% of the base salary.
The posting can be found at EFL's website.
