Eric Verret was named head of corporate loans within NN Investment Partners' alternative credit team.
Whether the role is new could not be learned by press time.
Mr. Verret is responsible for corporate loan asset strategies and loan origination propositions, said a news release.
"His extensive experience in corporate banking and international debt capital markets will be highly valuable as our proposition grows," said Gabriella Kindert, head of alternative credit, in the release.
Mr. Verret was a business leader for a division of GE Capital in London, where he headed a team to originate and structure loans to finance European loan portfolio acquisitions by financial sponsors, said the release.
A spokeswoman for NN could not be reached for comment. The firm has $288 billion in assets under management. Alternative credit assets under management were not available.
