Oregon 529 Savings Board, Salem, is searching for a program manager for its $1.6 billion plan, said James Sinks, spokesman.
Incumbent TIAA-CREF is invited to rebid. TIAA has been the plan's program manager for seven years and plan officials began the search to survey the marketplace, Mr. Sinks said. The contract will be at will with an initial term of five years and subsequent five-year extensions. Because the contract is at will there is no set number of extensions or fixed termination date.
Proposals are due Jan. 5, with the board scheduled to select a firm as early as Jan. 24.
The RFP is available on the state treasury website.
