Patricia Lindenboim was named head of strategy and investment innovation in the Sydney office of Cbus, the A$41 billion ($31.2 billion) superannuation fund for the construction industry.
The position, a new one at the fund, is part of Melbourne-based Cbus’s continued buildup of its internal management capabilities.
Ms. Lindenboim comes to Cbus from National Australia Bank, where she served as head of portfolio management, everyday banking and payments, said a Cbus spokesman in an email.
Ms. Lindenboim, in her new role, “will help shape the strategic direction of Cbus’ investment function,” working to develop a portfolio of strategic and innovative initiatives, the spokesmen said.
In addition, Sanjay Magotra joined Cbus as a portfolio manager on the fund’s public markets team, also a new position, the spokesman said.
Mr. Magotra comes to Cbus from Integrity Investment Management, where he served as a portfolio manager.
A spokesman at Integrity Investment Management couldn’t be reached for comment by press time.
