Chad Crank was named a managing director at private equity firm Grain Management, said Justin Wilson, spokesman.
It is a new position.
Mr. Crank had been head of the telecommunications, media and technology investment bank group at financial services firm Stephens Inc.
"Our history of working together on multiple portfolio investments over the last six years makes him an ideal addition to Grain's investment team," said David Grain, founder and CEO, in a news release.
