Del Hart was named head of external investments and partnerships at the NZ$37.2 billion ($25.5 billion) New Zealand Superannuation Fund.
Ms. Hart replaces Fiona Mackenzie, who joined FNZC to lead that Auckland-based firm's newly launched direct broking business, according to an FNZC news release.
In her new role, Ms. Hart has responsibility for overseeing roughly NZ$6.5 billion in NZ Super Fund assets, listed and unlisted, allocated to roughly 30 external managers.
Previously, Ms. Hart was a portfolio manager on the fund's external investments team. A NZ Super spokeswoman said Ms. Hart will look to fill that portfolio manager role "in due course."
The spokeswoman noted that the partnerships element of Ms. Hart's responsibilities involves "working to maximize knowledge sharing with both investment managers and peer funds globally," while striving to cultivate "fewer, deeper" high-value relationships.
