Avik Mukhopadhyay joined real estate manager Kennedy Wilson as a managing director for its investment management business, said spokesman Ryan Gooding in an email.
It is a new position, Mr. Gooding said. Mr. Mukhopadhyay had been an executive director and head of global real assets tactical direct investments at J.P. Morgan Asset Management where he oversaw co-investments, thematic separately managed accounts and club funds.
JPMAM spokesman Matthew Chisum could not immediately be reached by comment.
Kennedy Wilson has more than $18 billion in assets under management.
