Orange County Employees Retirement System, Santa Ana, Calif., committed $100 million to Waterton Residential Property Venture XIII, according to a report emailed by Robert Kinsler, spokesman for the $15 billion pension fund.
The real estate fund managed by Waterton Associates will invest in multifamily properties in major U.S. markets.
The pension fund committed $75 million to predecessor fund Waterton Residential Property Venture XII in September 2015.
The pension fund has a 22% target to real assets.
