North Dakota Public Employees Retirement System, Bismarck, is searching for an executive director, said Sharon Schiermeister, chief operating officer.
The selected candidate will replace Sparb Collins, who retired on Oct. 31. Ms. Schiermeister has been filling in as interim executive director. The retirement system administers five defined benefit plans with roughly $2.8 billion in assets combined, a roughly $11 million 401(a) plan, $83 million 457 plan, an insurance program and other benefit plans. Investments are managed by the North Dakota State Investment Board.
