Metropolitan District Commission, Hartford, Conn., is looking for an international equity manager to run $15 million.
Dahab Associates, investment consultant to the commission's $200 million pension fund, is assisting with the search. Active and passive managers are invited to bid.
The search is being conducted because the commission is increasing its allocation to the asset class, said Steven Roth, Dahab's chief investment officer, in an email. Lazard Asset Management is the current manager and is encouraged to rebid.
The RFP is available on Dahab's website. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EST Jan. 23. A selection date has not been determined, Mr. Roth said.
