Neil Johnson was named U.S. head of institutional business development and Roger Miners was named chief marketing officer at BNP Paribas Asset Management, said a spokesman.
Mr. Johnson replaced Jim Johnston, who passed away in June, said the spokesman.
He leads the firm's U.S. business development strategy with asset owners in all market segments. He also assists the firm with U.S. product strategy. Mr. Johnson reports to Daniel Klein, CEO of BNP Paribas Asset Management, North America and is based in New York.
Mr. Johnson "has significant experience building relationships with institutional investors and developing solutions to meet their organizations' investment needs. He also has a background in sustainable and responsible research and investing," said Mr. Klein in a news release.
Mr. Miners replaces Anthony Finan, who will pursue personal opportunities outside the firm. Mr. Miners is based in London, reporting to Sandro Pierri, global head of client group.
Mr. Johnson was executive director, head of sales U.S. and head of global clients and marketing at RobecoSAM. He was not replaced. Last year, the RobecoSAM decided to hand back the license for distributing asset management solutions in the U.S. because it was no longer a strategic market, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Miners was most recently chief marketing officer at Allianz Global Investors. He left the firm in 2015.
BNP Paribas AM has €571 billion ($666 billion) in assets under management and advisement.
