Chris Anton was named manager of investments of the $2.1 billion Idaho Endowment Fund Investment Board, Boise, said Larry Johnson, outgoing manager of investments, in an email.
Mr. Anton joined the board on Oct. 30 to replace Mr. Johnson, who announced his retirement earlier this year. Mr. Johnson said his last day in the office will be Nov. 21.
Mr. Anton was previously chief investment officer and chief operating officer of the Boise State University Foundation. A spokeswoman at the foundation said a search is underway for a replacement. The foundation had $195 million in assets as of June 30, 2016, according to the university's most recent financial statements.
