The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland, Helsinki, is searching for equity manager to run €90 million ($104 million), said Magdalena Lönnroth, portfolio manager and head of responsible investment at the pension fund.
The €1.5 billion Church Pension Fund has 40% of its total allocation in equity. The selected manager will run 15% of the total equity allocation with an environmental, social and governance focus.
"This tender is conducted in line with public procurement laws and is conducted for an existing portfolio," Ms. Lönnroth said. She declined to disclose the current managers and whether they can rebid.
Proposals are due Nov. 21 via European procurement website Tenders Electronic Daily. An expected hiring date was not provided.
