Kiran Inamdar was named consultant relations director for U.K. and Ireland at Eaton Vance Management (International), said a spokeswoman.
The position is new. Ms. Inamdar focuses on broadening Eaton Vance's coverage of U.K. and Ireland-based manager research and field consultants. Ms. Inamdar also manages relationships with consultants in continental Europe, Australia and Asia.
"(Ms. Inamdar) has extensive experience working with research and delegated consultants in the U.K. and continental Europe, and has an in-depth understanding of equity and fixed-income strategies. This combination makes her well-suited to successfully lead our consultant coverage," Tjalling Halbertsma, managing director at Eaton Vance Management (International), said in a news release.
Ms. Inamdar was previously Europe, Middle East and Africa business development director for seven years at American Century Investments. A spokesman could not be reached by press time to comment about a replacement.
Eaton Vance Corp. has $419.3 billion in assets under management.
