Christoph von Reiche joined Robeco as head of global distribution and marketing, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. von Reiche replaced Ingo Ahrens, who is now managing director and country head for Germany and Austria. Martin Nijkamp, head of strategic product and business development at Robeco, took on the duties in the interim.
Mr. von Reiche is responsible for global sales strategy and organization, sales teams in 15 countries, consultant relations and global marketing.
"(Mr. von Reiche's) international mindset and experience at top-notch asset management firms, as well his track record in running multilocation sales teams, make him the right person to bring our distribution efforts to the next level and further improve our client servicing," CEO Gilbert Van Hassel said in a news release.
Mr. von Reiche was previously head of Europe institutional business at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. A spokeswoman said Paul Farrell was named head of U.K. institutional and Linso Pals was named head of institutional for continental Europe.
Robeco has €283 billion ($328.5 billion) in assets under management.
