Ria Dimalanta Nova was named head of Americas business development and investor relations at alternative credit manager Varde Partners.
In this new position, Ms. Nova is based in Varde's New York office and will focus on developing and deepening relationships with investors in the Americas, confirmed MaryClaire Schulz, a company spokeswoman, in an email.
Ms. Nova was head of national accounts — broker dealer at Neuberger Berman. Alexander Samuelson, a Neuberger Berman spokesman, did not immediately have information about Ms. Nova's replacement.
Varde Partners manages $13 billion in strategies including real estate, corporate credit, mortgages, specialty finance, energy, transportation and infrastructure.
